Privacy Policy
OutClip sends the page you save to your own Outline server. To nobody else. There is no vendor server that sees your content, and no analytics, no telemetry, no ads.

What the extension processes
Page content. When you press “Save to Outline”, OutClip reads the visible content of the current page, converts it to Markdown and sends it to the Outline address you entered yourself. This happens only on your click — never in the background, and never on pages you merely visit.
Images. With “Store images in Outline” enabled, OutClip hands the image addresses to your Outline server. Your server downloads them, not the extension. No image byte passes through OutClip.
Full-page picture. If you tick it, OutClip renders a picture of the page and uploads it to your Outline server. That is the only direction it travels.
What is stored in your browser
Locally only, in your browser's storage.local:

All of it stays in your browser. None of it is transmitted anywhere. You can delete the token at any time with “Forget token”; removing the extension removes everything.
Who receives data
Your Outline server — the address you entered. What happens to the data there is up to you, not us.
Polar (api.polar.sh) — only
if you enter or hold a licence key. What travels then is the key, an
activation identifier and a label such as “OutClip · Firefox · 2026-09-20”,
so you can tell your browsers apart. No page content, no visited addresses,
no titles. Polar is the merchant of record; their privacy policy:
polar.sh/legal/privacy.
Nobody else. No analytics service, no crash reporter, no ad network, no remote fonts.

OutClip requests no standing access to arbitrary websites.
This website
obin.space keeps no access log: your IP
address is not stored when you read these pages. There are no cookies, no
tracking pixels, no third-party embeds and no remote fonts.
Unavoidably, your IP address is known while the page is transmitted — no server can reply without it. It reaches an error log only when delivery fails; such entries are deleted after 14 days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in operating the site.
Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on a server located in Germany.
Your rights
Since no personal data reaches the vendor, there is nothing at the vendor to disclose or delete. Purchase data is Polar's responsibility as merchant of record. The contents of your Outline are yours.
In principle you hold the rights under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent one here is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
